Broke after two weeks

I was very happy to get this Vivosmart. It was working quite well, pushing me to walk more often during the day and waking me up in the morning with sharp vibrations. I also very much liked the fact that it is waterproof so I don't have to take it off all the time and the OLED screen which turns on...

Not completely satisfied

The Garmin app needs improvement in sleep and limited workout information. Sleep is only a graph. Prefer Up app by Jawbone for sleep and logging in workouts. My fitness app also needs a lot of help as well. Premium app for My fitness is expensive. Twice as much as Jawbone.

Comfortable; Quality Construction; Water Resistant

Perfect for swimmers.

Great device. One of the fewer that are really water proof and not just resistant. Works great with iPhone and the Garmin app. I had it for over a month and no issues! Target has a large FitBit display but the VivoSmart is a far superior unit for the same price.

Not 24/7 wearability or water rating of 5 ATM

I want to start off by saying I loved this device, it did everything I wanted in a wearable device. It had the right mixture of smart watch and fitness activity tracker. The biggest reason I bought this device was its claim of 24/7 wearability and its water rating of 5 ATM.

1 week in

I have had this fitness band for only a week. I like the caller ID/ e-mail alerts. Part of why I picked this unit was the fact that it would vibrate when I received a call, text, or e-mail.

Comfortable; Quality Construction; Small Size - Light Weight; Water Resistant

Garmin Vivosmart

The Garmin Vivosmart fitness tracker is smart, capable and very well designed. You can control smartwatch-style notifications, as well as accurately track your steps, calories burned and sleep.

The unique touchscreen is much easier to use than those on many of the other fitness trackers we reviewed

The Vivosmart doesn't keep track of your active daily minutes

Kleenex, Hoover, Glad Wrap, Band-aid, Fitbit. All brands that are synonymous with the products they represent. It makes it hard for other brands to break into their respective fields.

Small form factor; Phone notifications; Fully featured app; Solid design/band

Black and white display; Not Android Wear; App is over-complicated

Review – Garmin Vivosmart

With the Apple Watch now released, is there still a place in the market for another smartwatch? Garmin's latest entry into the field, the Vivosmart, looks to differentiate itself from Apple's offering by being a fitness tracker with smartphone features, rather than a smartwatch that also happens to...

comfortable design; very long battery life; well implemented activity tracking and notification

companion app doesn't provide much value; text orientation makes longer notifications hard to read

One Minute Review: Garmin Vivosmart HR

The Vivosmart HR is the newest addition to Garmin's activity tracking range and resembles the lovechild of the Vivosmart band and the Vivofit 2. A sleek design with monochrome display, silicon band and built-in optical heart-rate monitor on the underside (which I found to be very accurate), this new...

Not What I Expected

I bought this Garmin in store and got home and charged it. When I went to get it sync'd with the Garmin Express boy was I surprised to find out that I supposedly put on 43 miles and over 84,000 steps last year back in June, July and August of 2015.
