Very comfortable, battery life decent, but I am on my second one in less than a year due to the screen dying or freezing up. Though it is supposed to be water resistant, it cannot handle a very small amount of sweat. Going to another brand now.....
I wasn't expecting much from this device but once I paired it with my smart phone and installed the free app it was great it calorie counts and step meter heart rate monitor and overall exercise intensity tracking. I can't live without it now.
I've had this around 2 weeks and safe to say its rubbish, every reading seemed to be a little off so i reset it went to bed and left it on bedside table, when I got up id walked 1.2km and burned nearly 1000 calories, heart rate sensor is way out at rest mine was at over 100bpm which is nonsense..
I love this product, I used my daughters for awhile and decided I would invest in one for myself. It is easy to keep track of my activities, calories burned, heart rate etc. What I like as well this garmin recognises the machines at my local gym, and I can wear the device whilst swimming.
The product screen only displays half of the actual display I took it back for an exchange but the replacement has the same problem with the top or bottom of figures writing not being displayed and the blue tooth does not work
Watch works really well. Heart rate and other bits on it seem really good so far. Was just a little let down when a black one came when I ordered a purple one
The Garmin vivosmart HR has all the features you would want in a fitness tracker, but is definitely meant for fitness enthusiasts. It uses MoveIQ technology to detect what type of workout you're doing, and also provides all-day activity tracking.
Inactivity Bar shows how long you've been still; Move IQ senses the type of exercise; Sets an attainable step goal based on your activity level; Consistently measures heart rate; Can control music; view weather and get notifications on the device; Measures floors climbed and descended; GPS tracks...
Relatively short battery life; Bulky design; Testers said it was uncomfortable
Replaced competitor's unit which was only sweat resistant for 500 days. My friends reported owning Garmin products for years. Loving the brighter display in sunlight. Way more features, still learning them. Reliability will be key, swimming and showers will be avoided.
Bright display in sunlight; Hoping for better sweat resistance; Easy out of the box basic use
Need a checklist in order to keep track of all the features that need to be learned; Examples methods of syncing auto/manual, Watt meter function, sharing data across my multiple devices, ( Apple, android, and Windows-based); Learning all the screen icons
I like the easy to read pulse counter and other features. It is not bulky and has a long battery life.
