Garmin Vivoactive 3

Garmin has gone all out with the Vivoactive 3 by packing this smartwatch with all sorts of expected, and unexpected, features.

The Garmin Way To Pay

The Vivoactive 3 is Garmin's first wearable that is Pay Ready. Paying for your purchases with your watch must be the ultimate in convenience, as you can leave your wallet in your pocket and 'tap and go' instead.

Personalise With Connect IQ

Personalising your Vivoactive 3 is free and easy through Garmin's Connect IQ store. Apps, watch faces and widgets of your choice can all be accessed through the store.

More Ways To Track Your Activity

The Vivoactive 3 features 15 preloaded sports apps, giving you the opportunity to monitor a wider range of activities including golf, yoga, walking, and even paddle boarding!

Take It Anywhere

The robust construction of the Vivoactive 3 means you can use your watch pretty much anywhere, including the pool, as livers of an active life would demand.

Keep An Eye On Your Stress

The Vivoactive 3 not only tracks your physical activity - it can also monitor your stress levels through tracking your heart rate variability, and giving you the opportunity to relieve that stress when required.

Your World On Your Wrist

No matter where you are, your Vivoactive 3 lets you stay in touch with the rest of the world. Pair it to a compatible smartphone and you can see emails, social media updates, and more, on your watch face.

Great for running and Swimming

I have had this watch for about a month now. To replace a Fitbit Charge2 and forerunner 10 Pros: Great for running and Swimming. You can change your data fields to customise it. The screen is always on, really nice to look at in bright sunshine, though quite dim in with less ambient light, but then...

Bought this to replace a fenix 5s, and for my needs, it's a better watch. The touchscreen makes the device far more usable, also the design makes the small screen look far better (this is the music variant) the steel bezel on the non-music and fenix range make the screen look silly, and although the...

Couldn't be happier

Switched from Garmin to an Apple 5 years ago only because I purchased an Apple phone. However, after upgrading and having several problems with my new Apple Watch, I was ready to go back to something that has always been accurate, durable and reliable. I couldn't be happier with the Vivoactive 3.

Why only a 4 star

After lots of research I bought this watch which would also enable me to listen to music/podcasts. I thought it was worth the extra money. In hindsight I should have bought the basic version without music. You can only download Spotify which I didn't want to pay to use.

Similar functionality to Vivoactive HR, but better looking!

I previously owned the Vivoactive HR and was very happy with its functionality. After the face fell off it unexpectedly after 27 months, JL gave me a partial refund towards a new model. I have had it several weeks now and it seems to do everything the Vivoactive HR did, plus one or two more.

Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music review

If you've been following the Garmin story, the Garmin Vivoactive 3 Music should pretty much explain itself. The latest sports watch from the fitness powerhouse takes the Vivoactive 3 we know and love and bestows on it the gift of song, letting you play your tunes from your watch instead of your...

New design looks the part; Music works like a breeze; Packed to the gills with sports modes

Lacking in design options; Only one music service; Basic health stuff behind the competition

Garmin Vivoactive 3 smartwatch review

"The Vivoactive 3 is an activity tracker that's perfect for the rider who's not necessarily interested in picking apart data with a fine-toothed comb but wants to keep track of their rides and monitor fitness"

Built-in sensors; Bluetooth and ANT+ connectivity; battery life

Optical HR struggles riding on bumpy surfaces; app integration could be improved
