Whether the Garmin Instinct is the watch for you primarily comes down to how much you value its tough credentials and navigational tools. If you can live without MIL-STD robustness, breadcrumb routing and compass, you might be just as happy with the Vivoactive 3, which costs around £170
Rugged MIL-STD design; Superb battery life; Reasonable price
No Garmin Connect IQ apps; Breadcrumb navigation only
Great watch. Has a long battery life and tracks steps and heart rate
It's only been a few days and it has taken a while to work out even just some basic features but it seems a pretty awesome watch. Very comfortable (hardly feel it on my wrist) and even though my wrist is small there are plenty more loops for even smaller wrists.
Its the best relation with price and spects, very strong, easy to use, multisport, and best price.
I had previously had nothing but fit it's prior to this. Went through three in two years decided it was time to get something tougher. So far love this watch, reminds me of my G-shocks from my Army days.
