Great smart & fitness watch

OK, so I am a Windows Phone user and we dont have many choices when it comes to wearable tech.I had the MS Band and then Band 2 for my everyday fitness tracker and smart watch. Small, light and packed with sensors you rarely see in more expensive watches.

Review

I love it. It was a marginal decision as it catered to quite a bit more than I (at the time) needed, however it's motivated me to actually start doing some of these other things! It's become absolutely invaluable to me now, especially the GPS.

A Serious Athletic Investment

I purchased the Fenix 3 (pronounced Phoenix, little did I know!) to replace a Garmin Forerunner 610. The previous watch was an investment in getting up and over the marathoning hurdle, and was more than capable of meeting all of those needs.

Rugged; Good Value; Simple; Lightweight; Reliable; extreme battery life; forefront of technology

Powerful watch

Full of features and you can install other apps and widgets. I don't see a reason to spend almost double the amount on a Fenix 5x when the Fenix 3 hr is already very good.

I am satisfied with its functionality

I have purchased fenix 3 with HR belt a week ago. I am satisfied with its functionality. Battery life is awesome. Activity tracking is pretty good. the HR belt shown in the picture may be diffrent for new versions of fenix3. I got hr belt with fixed sensor ( see picture).

Perfect watch

I don't have one bad thing to say about this watch. It tracks well. I never lose GPS or Bluetooth connection. It looks fantastic for everyday wear. The most impressive thing is the battery life. I recently ran a 50k. I charged the watch the night before the race.

Awesome watch!

Very nice watch, well made, easy to use and has a ton of features. Quite large, but subtle. Very customisable, some nice faces and widgets available. Just the right amount of "smart watch" too - can notify you of emails, messages and such, but not intrusive like some. All in all a decent purchase.

Garmin Fenix 3: Adventure ready for any sport (hands-on)

Garmin has released the third generation of its adventure GPS watch, the Fenix 3. The Garmin Fenix 3 is all about adventurous, off-the-beaten-path sports. But unlike its predecessors this generation is built even better for the day-to-day runner, cyclist or swimmer.

Garmin Fenix 3 is the Hummer of wearables for extreme athletes only

The standalone GPS market just isn't what it used to be, and as such, Garmin has done what any Business 101 graduate would almost certainly suggest: diversify. For the Kansas-based company, that means wearables , wearables, wearables.

Garmin Fenix 3 Watch Review:?The Smartwatch For Outdoor Athletes

I run, bike, swim, surf, snowboard, paddle, hunt and ride motorcycles. Not only is the Garmin Fenix 3 the first smartwatch capable of keeping up throughout all those activities, but it's also the first to genuinely help me become better at them.
