Garmin fenix 3 Sapphire Review

When you're in the great outdoors, it helps to know where you're going and where you've come from. The Garmin fenix 3 Sapphire GPS watch not only tracks a wide range of activities - from skiing to canoeing to hiking - but also has excellent battery life as well as a bevy of sensors that tell you...

Extremely durable; Long battery life; Loaded with sensors; Tracks a wide range of activities; Smartphone notifications

Expensive; Heavy; Many activities don't show up on mobile app

Review: Garmin's Fenix 3 HR is an iOS-connected smartwatch for fitness fanatics

Because of those interface concerns, and early obstacles, we weren't initially thrilled by the HR. Slowly though, it won us over -it became obvious how tough and capable the watch is. There are very few barriers for anyone who's committed to fitness.

Handles wide range of activities with GPS; GLONASS & heartrate tracking; Waterproof & highly durable; Fantastic battery life; Useful phone app; downloadable watch customizations; Hooks for HealthKit; Strava; MyFitnessPal

No touchscreen; somewhat awkward button controls; Interface lag; Can be difficult to configure; Low visibility without sunlight or backlight; Needlessly expensive for weightlifting or casual fitness

Garmin Fenix 3 review

An impressive sports watch from Garmin that is only let down by its price. Casual users should look elsewhere.

Easy and intelligent configuration; Quick and accurate tracking; Rugged and long-lasting

Needs a chest strap to really shine; Basic on-screen display; Sleep tracking is so-so

Garmin poor customer service, watch less than 2 years old and want to charge £164 to fix

It is the same as others report, the altitude stops working correctly, root cause is barometer is going up and down, done calibration many times, even reset watch to factory setting. Same error occurs, altitude sometimes goes to 65,000 ft, when barometer goes low.

Seems like a legit watch for a good price

I got mine when it was offered for $285. I see the price is now $339. The concern when I bought was if the watch was legit because the price was so low. $340 is still a pretty good price. As far as I can tell it is as advertised: a new Garmin Fenix 3 HR. It comes with everything advertised.

Garmin Fenix 3: Adventure ready for any sport (hands-on)

Garmin has released the third generation of its adventure GPS watch, the Fenix 3. The Garmin Fenix 3 is all about adventurous, off-the-beaten-path sports. But unlike its predecessors this generation is built even better for the day-to-day runner, cyclist or swimmer.

Garmin Fenix 3 is the Hummer of wearables for extreme athletes only

The standalone GPS market just isn't what it used to be, and as such, Garmin has done what any Business 101 graduate would almost certainly suggest: diversify. For the Kansas-based company, that means wearables , wearables, wearables.

Garmin Fenix 3 Watch Review:?The Smartwatch For Outdoor Athletes

I run, bike, swim, surf, snowboard, paddle, hunt and ride motorcycles. Not only is the Garmin Fenix 3 the first smartwatch capable of keeping up throughout all those activities, but it's also the first to genuinely help me become better at them.
