too much for nothing

I thought this watch would be wonderful but sometimes it stalls out and has to be turned on to reset! Doesn't deliver messages unless it's connected to your phone all the time. It was always giving false storm alerts and I have to continually shut off the move alert but it magically turns itself...

Not typical Garmin quality.

To start: I am an avid Garmin fan, and will remain one. The EPIX has let me down though. Right out of the box while setting it up, I had to do a hard reset to get it to work. Amazing

I've had this watch for a week now and used it for sleep tracking, cycling and running. So far its been excellent, far better than I was expecting. I had heard that the OS was quite buggy. Not any more! When I first received it there was an update, then another a week later.

Garmin Epix

The Garmin Epix is the company's first watch to combine the features of its sports watches – and we mean all of them – with its wrist-based GPS mapping devices. It's a chunky beast, and won't be any competition for the Apple Watch in the style department.

Full-colour European TOPO recreational maps included; Comprehensive activity-type support; Rugged and waterproof to 50m

Interface needs getting used to; Not as sleek as some smart watches; Expensive
