Replaced my older 6 inch unit with this one...to get the traffic alerts and other features you now need to download some garbage app on your phone that is buggy and drains the battery keeps wanting you to subscribe and pay for additional services such a weather reports...if you have an android phone will demand you turn one Google location information...if you value you user date read their policy’s carefully on what they collect and sell to their “partners” what a shame Garmin has descended to this level.

GPS was good when I bought it. Then upgraded the software and now can't turn off speed zone change alerts. I can turn off all alerts but then I don't get speed camera alerts. Result is can be driving through a school zone at 9pm and it will flash and beep that it is a 40kmph zone. Can be driving under 60 and it will flash and beep that I am approaching a 60 zone. Distracting. The hardware is good, the software is not.

Have had item for some time , i injoy the interface updates work fine maps spped camras and warring seem to work fine , The phone calls with this device suck lag and people find it hard to hear me , the battery life is not great , There is lots of information u can get with this device eg weather , seepd camra , speed zone, traffic, messagers face book news so on so nice to have on a drive

I love this product! So easy to use, giant screen, text notification and Alexa compatibility is fantastic. The setup was simple. I’ve used several Garmin products and am so happy with this navigator!

I am a tradie and use the Garmin numerous times a day. It is easy to use, screen is very clear, notifies me of text messages and will read them if need be, alerts the speed limit. App is easy to use. Overall fantastic GPS.
