Just got this lens after moving to Fuji from Nikon. I had a similar lens on my Nikon and the images that are coming out of this lens have surprised me for their clarity. Lens is large but not too big for the camera and the balance feels fine.

At the time Fujifilm announced the Fujinon XF 18-135mm f/3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR, they made quite a fuzz about it ... but then that's what marketeers do. The truth is in the pudding and the pudding doesn't taste all that great.

Conclusions Recent lenses for the Fuji X system have been consistently excellent, but the Fujifilm Fujinon XF 18-135mm F3.5-5.6 R LM OIS WR is more down to earth. If you're expecting an optically perfect gem, you'll be disappointed.

If you already own the standard Fujinon XF 18-55mm F2.8-4 R LM OIS ($385.99 at Amazon) ($699.95), you're better off supplementing it with the XF 55-200mm F3.5-4.8 R LM OIS ($699.00 at Amazon) , which is a stronger performer and less expensive. Neither of those lenses are weather-sealed, so you'll want to decide if the optical inconsistencies are worth the convenience of an all-in-one design that can be used on rainy and snowy days. everything is great about this lens except its weight and dimensions. I have x-t1 model and this lens make it much heavier and shifts center of mass.
