Fujifilm X-T3

The X-T3 is Fujifilm's new flagship camera in the X-series range and it delivers a major boost in performance at all levels. This is not a step up...more a giant leap!

Performance plus

The Fujifilm X-T3 features the all new X-Trans CMOS 4 sensor and X-Processor 4 image processing engine. The X-Processor 4 features a Quad Core CPU, with process speeds three times faster than previous engines. This means super quick autofocus, better accuracy, and enhanced video capabilities.

Real colour and really good photos

The colours you see are the colours the X-T3 captures. That's thanks, again, to the new sensor and processor, which deliver ultra-high image resolving performance, superb colour reproducibility and the fastest processing ever seen in X Series cameras. Meanwhile, the Colour Chrome effect has been introduced to improve colour gradation in shaded areas.

A video virtuoso

Reports suggest the enhanced video capabilities push the X-T3 towards the top of the ladder in the movie making stakes. The camera supports 4K/60p recording, and that's just the start with all sorts of extra features allowing you to shoot in any style. For example, check out the Cinema Film Simulation mode!

New camera, similar body

The X-T3 makes giant strides in performance, but it does look similar to others in the range. The top plate features standard dials for ISO, shutter speed, and exposure compensation, and the rear has a tilting touchscreen. The body includes a microphone and a headphone jack, along with USB-C and micro HDMI-out ports.

Another 2018 show-stopper, the X-T3 noticeably improves on its predecessor in nearly every way. Packing a brand new 26.1MP APS-C BSI sensor and fast X-Processor 4 configuration allows for some amazing feats.

Often labelled poor man's Leica for it's retro design, X-T3 is a stellar camera that continues challenging the FF need for an amateur, enthusiast and even professionals (to an extend).

Fuji X-T3 review: A terrific camera for all-rounders

The X-T3's wide range of features and agreeable price make it perfect for photographers and videographers alike

Agreeable price point; Supreme build quality; Photo and video quality are equally fantastic

Sub-par battery life; Lacks in-body image stabilisation

Great image quality in a perfect form factor

A quick note about my background. I earned a living as a professional photographer for 10 years while living in NYC. I started with film cameras and made the switch to digital in 2002 when I purchased a Fuji S2 Pro which at the time had the best resolution of the major brands and built on a Nikon...

Great camera!

Probably the best APS-C camera on the market right now, and a substantial step-up from X-T2. Backed by great Fujifilm glass. I love it. ^_^

Fujifilm currently has a solid lineup of APS-C mirrorless cameras to suit pretty much any type of photographer, and a few months ago, it added a new model to its roster that might just be its best offering yet. We're taking about the Fujifilm X-T3, which is a followup to 2016's X-T2.

Weather-resistant and rugged body; Exhaustive feature set; Great performance for stills and video; Decent battery life; Dual SD card slots

Metering dial can be tricky to use; Tracking in videos is limited to faces; Clunky smartphone app

A formidable camera, but not without its drawbacks

Firstly some background: I've been a big fan of Fujifilm gear for decades. Have owned (and still own) several of their X-series of cameras. I do a lot of indoor family/pets photography and travel photography.

A very impressive release from Fujifilm absolutely worth a closer look. I thought, immediately: "Right, you're on, mate. It's hammer time. Show me this anvil". Context. Over the last few years, I've spent a lot of time shooting commercial timelapse and in almost every instance there's a decision to...

Delivers uncompressed RAW files; All the controls in the right place; Sports Finder mode; Amazing results

Smaller sensor has its limitations; Battery could have been better
