Fujifilm GFX 50S Mark II Mirrorless Camera Body Only - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 isn’t a huge upgrade on the iPhone 13, yet it still is a great phone with a top camera, good battery life and all the iOS benefits.

Clever safety features, Very good battery life, Reliable camera, Fun colours, You’ve got an ageing iPhone: If you’re on an iPhone 11 or older, then the changes here will make a notable difference.

Stuck on a 60Hz display, Minimal differences to the iPhone 13, You’ve got an iPhone 13: The changes from Apple’s previous phone aren’t enough to warrant an upgrade this year.

Fujifilm GFX 50S Mark II Mirrorless Camera Body Only - Brand New review

The Apple iPhone 14 is no match for the just-released iPhone 14 Pro, but if you ignore that, it’s one of the most effective phones around.

Great cameras, front and back, Fast performance, Good battery life, Innovative safety features

Design too familiar, Some average features

Fujifilm GFX 50S Mark II Mirrorless Camera Body Only - Brand New review

“The iPhone 14 isn't a huge upgrade compared to its predecessor. But with a great design, screen, performance, and cameras, that's far from a bad thing at all.”

Comfortable, high-end build, OLED screen looks fantastic, A15 chip performs great, Good camera upgrades, Dependable battery life, Helpful safety features

60Hz display, No telephoto camera, eSIM might be a pain for some

Fujifilm GFX50S II Review

Fujifilm continues to push the price of entry for medium format cameras down—the company's GFX50S II, an update to 2016's GFX 50S, costs $3,999 (body only). The 50S II sports a new, more compact build with in-body stabilization, but keeps the same 50MP sensor as the original. However, that sensor is starting to show its age and lags behind some full-frame options in terms of resolution. If you can stretch your budget, the $6,000 Fujifilm GFX100S is better all around and our Editors' Choice winner for medium format cameras.GFX50S II and GFX100S: Dead Ringers The GFX50S II is smaller than the original 50S, but maintains its predecessors' SLR-style build. It drops the removable, articulating EVF for a fixed one, and moves the battery into the handgrip, slimming down the overall form. It's not a new body, though—aside from the model badge, it's indistinguishable from the 100MP GFX100S. Inside is a different story. The GFX50S II matches the sensor from the original version of the camer...

The Fujfilm GFX50S II is the most affordable digital medium format camera to date, but its image sensor and contrast detect focus system show their age.

50MP sensor with stabilization; Sturdy, all-weather build; Dual-hinge rear display; 200MP multi-shot mode; In-camera Raw processing; Varied film simulation looks; Low price for medium format

Uses bulkier lenses than full-frame cameras; Dated contrast detect autofocus system; 3fps continuous drive is on the slow side; Limited to 1080p video recording

Hands on: Fujifilm GFX50S II review

Fujifilm’s upgrade to its relatively affordable 50MP GFX camera doesn’t look all that impressive on paper – no 4K video, only 3fps continuous shooting speed – but some significant changes both inside and out could make the GFX50S II one of the best mirrorless cameras currently available, particularly at its competitive price point.

Relatively affordable; Impeccable image quality; Impressive image stabilization;

Lacks 4K video; Heavy with some GF lenses; Slow AF compared to other mirrorless

Fujifilm GFX 50S Mark II Mirrorless Camera Body Only - Brand New review

Hannah Stryker / Review Geek The iPhone 14 is the latest iteration of Apple’s flagship device. Since its launch, the iPhone has set the standard of what a smartphone is, what it does, and how it looks. Fifteen years later, it’s still doing that.

Top-notch cameras, Amazing display, Snappy performance, Great battery life

It's just "this year's iPhone"
