So far I love this case, it seems quiet with 6 fans running and it is able to hold my extremely long XFX R9 290x with a fan in the front.

Purchased this to build a home NAS. Had it running for about two weeks. Up until now, this case was 5 stars all the way. Moved it into a different room, booted it up, and smoke started pouring out of the top of the case through the vent.

With the small form factor market growing we are finally starting to see a nice variety of case designs available for people who are looking to build Mini-ITX and Micro-ATX PCs. Fractal has been producing a variety of cases for that market basically from their inception.

Fractal Design's Node series of cases is hard to pin down; there isn't much of a unifying theme beyond alternative form factors, but even then the home theatre Node 605 supports ATX motherboards. The , meanwhile, is for mini-ITX users, leaving the Node 804 to cater to the micro-ATX crowd.
