Forza Motorsport 4 Review

Forza Motorsport 4 is the best in the series and takes the mantle as the finest racing simulator this generation. At times it feels too similar to Forza 3 , and Kinect is awful, but it has been updated where it counts with fantastic physics, stunning visuals and realistic sound effects.

Forza Motorsport 4 Review

For a long time, when a racing fan want the most accurate and best looking racer with an unimaginable list of cars, they usually looked to the Gran Turismo series. When the original Xbox came out, several racers like the Project Gotham Racing and Rallisport Challenge tried to compete with it.

Forza Motorsport 4 review

When Forza arrived in 2005, it was the plucky young upstart, challenging the golden god that was Gran Turismo. Microsoft putting their brand new racing sim up against the biggest of the big was a bold move, but In a short four years Forza has established itself as the best racing sim on the market.

Gorgeous graphics and lighting; Streamlined online and community; New race modes

Adapative AI; No Porsches; No rally racing

Circuit-based racing games are repetitive by nature, but the deja vu you experience when playing Forza Motorsport 4 is especially pervasive--at least if you're familiar with its superb predecessor. You can't help noticing that the majority of the cars and tracks in Forza 4 also appeared in Forza 3 .

Caters to drivers of all skill levels; Rivals mode is a great addition; Cars and tracks look better than ever; New multi-class races are a lot of fun; Immediate feedback on your driving technique encourages you to improve

No variable weather conditions or night races; Only five new circuits

REVIEW: Forza Motorsport 4 (Xbox 360)

While not every addition in Forza Motorpsort 4 is a must have one, none of them are awful, nor detract from the absolutely stunning race action on offer here. You could argue that more brand new content could have been thrown in to appeal to returning race fans, but the truth is that there's so much...

Forza Motorsport 4 Review Xbox 360

Racing games don't get much bigger than this. Almost two years to the date since the well received Forza Motorsport 3 launched we have its successor. Forza Motorsport 4 (FM4). It has been taunted as the biggest, best and most feature packed assault on the racing genre to date.

Forza Motorsport 4

My Nissan Skyline (R33) is 14 years old. A pile of crap, really. I bought it for a mere 18,000 credits. A bargain for such a pacey ride, despite the mileage. It was meant to step in for my tuned Lancia in the Class A races where it didn't qualify, but then the money started rolling in and I felt the...

Brilliant car physics; wonderful online mode; well crafted Kinect support; loads of cars; great visuals; astonishing sound

Dumb artificial intelligence; exaggerated light effects

Forza Motorsport 4

From the moment you pop in the Forza Motorsport 4 disc, it's clear that this game is made for anyone who's ever had a "dream car," regardless of whether they've ever been lucky enough to own or even drive it.

+ Ridiculous number of cars; all gorgeously re-created; + Oodles of options and online community features; including an auction house; liveries; decals; and car clubs

? How come the DeLorean looks accurately stainless steel in Autovista; but is wrongly painted silver during gameplay

Forza Motorsport 4 Review

One of the best racers in the industry just got even better, making it the absolute king of the road.

Gorgeously presented; Plays fantastically; Tons of cars; tracks; and events; Excellent online features; Accommodates all levels of skill

Largely similar to the previous game; Not enough use of Top Gear; Kinect implementation is a gimmick; Still no Porsches

'Forza Motorsport 4' review (Xbox 360)

arrives exactly two years after its predecessor thundered ahead of its racing genre rivals, leaving them behind to choke on a rather large trail of dust. In the two years since its release, petrolheads with a soft spot for racing simulators will no have no doubt enjoyed
