Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious is a lean tie-in that at least provides some great-looking new cars, a boost of nitrous, and a short but appropriately themed set of races. It's fun while it lasts, but it's also proved to be disappointingly built around recycled maps and events.

The original Forza Horizon blew me away a couple of years ago. It had a deep handling model, a gorgeous open world and loads of varied race types. Can Playground games pull it all off again? Storyline : Once again, the concept of the Horizon Festival has been baked into the gameplay.

It is rare that a video game can tie into a movie and have it hold up in a way that is engaging and compliments both franchises'. The Fast and the Furious is a movie series that has come into its own over the last decade.

Like all Forza games, Forza Horizon 2 has a dynamically color-coded line that tells you where to drive and when to brake. If I turn the line off, I'm at a major disadvantage to everyone else playing Horizon 2, some of whom I'm asked to compete against after every race.

Forza Horizon 2 is a joy to play. It is not only a vast improvement over the original but, in many respects, manages to surpass Forza Motorsport 5 .
