Forza Horizon 2 review

Shut up and drive.

+ Open World setting; + Diverse events; + Free roam multiplayer; + Looks great; + You race freakin' fighter jets

- AI traffic isn't great; - Xbox 360 version is pointless

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious Review

Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious is a lean tie-in that at least provides some great-looking new cars, a boost of nitrous, and a short but appropriately themed set of races. It's fun while it lasts, but it's also proved to be disappointingly built around recycled maps and events.

Fantastic new cars; Great for new racers; Heavenly handling remains intact

Recycled content from FH2; Short; with fewer regular Forza features

Played it once

I played this game once at my friends house and I loved it, especially the free play. After that, I loved Forza and got Forza 6 Motorsport. I'm looking forward to seeing how good horizon 3 is

I love this game so much

I'm am one of the people that likes to play first person shooters like halo, call of duty, battefiels etc. But when my friend nagged me to try this with him I thought why not. I fell in love with this game. It is so much fun.

Forza Horizon 2 (for Xbox One)

Forza Horizon 2 ($59.99) is the Xbox One 's first major must-have title. Microsoft's answer to PlayStation's Gran Turismo series cuts its own path through a fenced backyard into the lane between the simulation and arcade genres.

Gorgeous 1080p/30fps graphics; Huge open world; Great music; Tons of cars, content, and customization options

Long load times; Steep learning curve; Finicky Kinect voice controls

It's not how you stand by your car, it's how you race your car.

Some guy is standing next to my Lexus LFA at the end of my racing triumph. He doesn't seem to be as excited as I am, even though he apparently represents me. He's the generic guy behind the wheel, the catatonic crash-test dummy whose presence at the end of every championship win mystifies me.

Festival atmosphere is easy to get swept up in; Wide variety of cars that require finesse and skill to master; Online road trips can be a hoot; Gleeful showcase races

Unnecessary perks system; Environmental obstacles can put the brakes on

Forza Horizon 2

By combining open-world thrills with simulation racing and letting you customize the experience to your liking, Forza Horizon 2 is an excellent entry in the series.

Southern Europe is gorgeous in game; Driving is constantly exciting; Experience is hugely customizable

Eventually runs out of new stuff; Story is ludicrous

Forza Horizon 2 is a great racing game for the people who aren't into the realism present in Forza Motorsport 5 , but the best part of all is likely just driving as fast as you can off-road. It's just a shame there isn't more to do out there.

Driving across country is fun; racing is less punishing for less seasoned players

Open world could use more variety; not all that much to find while exploring

Xbox One Review - 'Forza Horizon 2 Presents Fast & Furious'

Forza Horizon 2 is taking racing fans some places the series has never gone before: off the track, through the rain, and around the diverse landscapes of Southern Europe.
