Awful

This by far the worse of the lot. so many glitches no decent transfer bids CF hardly score passing is awful wingers don't track back opposition always score from something. the first review was right on this game largely. this game is really unrealistic makes fm13 look like the god of games.

I may be finally cured of my Football Manager addiction

I have spent (or 'wasted') a great deal of my life playing Football Manager or Championship Manager since the mid-90s, but that long run may have now come to an end. Football Manager 2014 is the worst in the history of the franchise and has gone massively backwards since the 2012 version.

an absolute waste of money

an absolute waste of money. It is amazing how when you are top, teams who are in relegation battle suddenly start beating your teams, no matter what strategy, players, instructions.. one of the worst..

Football Manager 2014 review – slider tactics

It's not a game know for radical change but this year's Football Manager makes some pretty drastic alterations to its formula – but do they hit the target?

Bold new tactics system works very well and increases the importance of individual players; Real-time transfer negotiations are a welcome option and Classic mode remains a great alternative to the main game

The removal of the slider bars makes a fundamental change to the way the game works, that many will not like; The other changes are mostly trivial and the 3D visuals are still spotty

Football Manager 2014 Review

The Football Manager formula is as complex and addictive as ever, but a compulsion to keep playing shouldn't be mistaken for revelatory advances. 2014 is a marginal improvement for the series, but retains several of its shortcomings.

Review: Football Manager Classic 2014

Feature wise, everything you could want and expect from the PC version makes an appearance in this impressive port. I'm a big fan of the streamlined classic mode which harks back to the heydays of Championship Manager 99 and 00.

It's Football Manager; on a handheld; Challenges are fun; 3D match engine

Difficult to navigate; Some text is difficult to read; Long load times

Football Manager 2014

The FM series is a strange beast, in that without ever actually having any gameplay in a traditional sense, it manages to get under my skin like few other sports games can. True to form, albeit with refinement rather than the wholesale changes we saw last year, Football Manager 2014 had me animated...

User-friendly UI; Incredibly deep; Classic mode

Awkward animations; Repetitive meetings

Football Manager 2014

To love Football Manager or to hate Football Manager ? It's a complicated relationship. Like football in the real world, Sports Interactive's long running series takes you from the highest highs to the lowest lows, without much care for your mental well-being.

Football Manager 2014

Great: Impressive efforts with a few noticeable problems holding it back. Won't astound everyone, but is worth your time and cash.

Football Manager 2014

Trying to explain the appeal of Football Manager to a non-fan – especially a non-football fan – seems impossible. It is a visually dry, time-consuming game not far removed from a full-time office job.
