With a few changes from the last edition, Football Manager 2014 is a return to form. A must for any true football fan with a decent amount of time on their hands.
This was purchased for both my boys and they love it. They play together or with friends and to hear them laugh again so soon after the death of their Dad has been wonderful.
Good clear graphics; Need to run steam as administrator otherwise game crashes
an absolute waste of money. It is amazing how when you are top, teams who are in relegation battle suddenly start beating your teams, no matter what strategy, players, instructions.. one of the worst..

Bold new tactics system works very well and increases the importance of individual players; Real-time transfer negotiations are a welcome option and Classic mode remains a great alternative to the main game
The removal of the slider bars makes a fundamental change to the way the game works, that many will not like; The other changes are mostly trivial and the 3D visuals are still spotty
The best possible Football Manager game lays between the two modes, and in the years to come the gap will close between them.
