Been playing since CM and 14 is by far the worst. The changes that have been made to the tactics system have ruined the game and the tactical instructions that have replaced the sliders seem to have little or no effect on this lottery of a game. The match engine is simply laughable.

Football Manager 2014

Sports Interactive returns with another deep football management sim.

+ Huge database of players and clubs; Streamlined modes for simpler gameplay; Improved transfer dealings; Best FM match day engine yet

- It will consume your life

Review: Football Manager 2014 returns to form

It's good, it's better than last year, it's worth the money and you will probably top 1,000 hours of play again. Get it, play the proper mode, have a ball.

Many; many issues from last year have resolved; Match tactics streamlined; not dumbed down; So many cool little additions and features

Classic mode is still infuriatingly lacking; Some small match engine issues

Football Manager 2014 review

Sports Interactive has been banging out Football Manager - nee Championship Manager - games with remarkable regularity in the last 21 years. More remarkable still is the consistency in quality. It's hard to think of any other franchise in gaming that has delivered time and time again.

The most in-depth management experience yet; improved 3D match engine; new tactics system; better transfer negotiations; hundreds of other minor and major tweaks; Steam sync for multiple device use

It will eat away your life if you let it; stacks of spreadsheets and numbers won't appeal to all players; graphics won't match up to FIFA (but that's not the point

Football Manager 2014 Review

Football Manager 2014 is a fantastic game . Chances are, if you're reading this, you already know that. Chances are, if you're seeking out information about Sports Interactive's peerless football management sim, you're keen enough and knowledgeable enough that you've already made your decision.

Astounding depth and accuracy of research; Very comprehensive simulation of modern football; Almost immeasurable replay value; Increased accessibility thanks to guides and tutorials

Can be difficult to intuit some of the stats and feedback

Football Manager 2014 (PC): New leagues, new features but the same amazing game

You will never get tired of this game.

Addictive; realistic; improves on last year's version

Needs a powerful PC to get the most out of it

New leagues, new features but the same amazing game

"The Football Manager gaming series has been around for over 20 years now. Starting out as Championship Manager in the early 1990's, Football Manager is widely accepted as the only football management game you need to own.

Addictive; realistic; improves on last year's version

Needs a powerful PC to get the most out of it

Awful

This by far the worse of the lot. so many glitches no decent transfer bids CF hardly score passing is awful wingers don't track back opposition always score from something. the first review was right on this game largely. this game is really unrealistic makes fm13 look like the god of games.
