For years now I have felt relegated to high action, low realism console games when instead I fancied a burn on a flight simulator. I started to play these games in the early 80's on my beloved BBC micro, but with each new flight sim on the PC it seemed you needed an ever more powerful computer.

Flight Simulator X is falsely advertised as being capable of being operated online with other people, it also advertises that you can work in the tower for air control which would only be available online, but since you are unable to go online in the game, that is Microsoft's false advertising...

I have tried to play the helicopter game only. I have not tried any planes as yet. I was not able to successfully fly the chopper and there is no great explanation of what to do in the help sections.

I am using it to prep myself for Private Pilot School and I love it. Best decision i have ever made. Highly recommend it you try it before you decide whether to fly for real or not.

I'm disabled and wanted to learn how to fly and this should do that.

This is 2006 software so I had some compatibility concerns, but went to avsim.net forums and used their FSX hardware and software guide and it installed without a hitch. In fact the preferred OS is Win 7 64-bit. Many other tips are there as well to help you get the most out of your installation.

No complaints about this add on for fsx the airport is well laid out with good graphics and it doesn't eat to much memory
