Fitbit Versa 3 review: A smartwatch that over delivers on health features
The Versa 3 is a cheaper alternative to the Fitbit Sense with temperature and SpO2 tracking plus all the fitness features you'd expect. The Fitbit Versa 3 is Fitbit's best smartwatch for most people. With an always-on display, built-in GPS, blood oxygen and temperature tracking during sleep, and a battery that lasts six days, the Versa 3 holds its own against some of its pricier competitors like the Apple Watch SE and even the Fitbit Sense. While you don't get the stress tracker and FDA-cleared electrocardiogram (ECG or EKG) like the Sense, the rest of the Versa 3's smartwatch and fitness features are similar. As an added bonus, the Versa 3 costs $100 less than the Sense.- Up to six days' battery life
- Bright, always-on AMOLED display
- Advanced sleep tracking
- Onboard GPS
- Mic and speaker for text dictation
- Relies heavily on mobile app
- Slow to sync
- Health metrics are hard to find
- Notification replies are Android-only
It was a present for my daughter and she loves it
My daughter does plenty of exercise and this watch really helps her track everything
Does everthing it says it will do
Reliable product health info very good
Fitbit Versa 3 Pink/Gold FB511GLPK review
Overall, this is a fitness tracker that has some impressive features for its price, including in-built GPS and a good battery life. However it is let down by inaccurate tracking, and disappointing “smart” features that flatter to deceive.
Easy to use
I usually have trouble with electronics however I have been able to navigate my new Fitbit Versa 3. I really enjoy using it.
Fitbit Versa 3 Pink/Gold FB511GLPK review
Fitbit finally rights the wrongs of the Versa 2 via some much-needed course correction in the superior Fitbit Versa 3. Now boasting built-in GPS tracking, the Google Assistant and a longer battery life, all without a price increase, the Versa 3 is one of the best fitness trackers you can buy for...- Feature-packed for the price
- GPS is finally here
- Six-day battery with intensive use
- Fitbit's apps and app store still need work
- The step count is just too eager
- Still no support for offline Spotify
- Fitbit Premium is essential for getting your money's worth
Fitbit Versa 3 Pink/Gold FB511GLPK review
The Fitbit Versa 3 is a watered-down version of the Fitbit Sense. However, the money saved makes it easily the better buy....- Decent battery life Pretty accurate health tracking Built-in GPS Google Assistant and Alexa support Speaker with phone call support Good price
- Very small app library Onboard music limited to two services Capacitive button isn't ideal Proprietary charging cable
Fitbit Versa 3 Pink/Gold FB511GLPK review
Despite its flaws, the Fitbit Versa 3 managed to introduce some useful updates over its predecessor and did it all without increasing the price. The AMOLED screen is sharp as ever and if you don't care much about ECG or stress measurements, the Versa 3 is probably the best Fitbit for you.- Handsome design
- Updated user interface
- Built-in GPS
- SpO2 sensor
- Active Zone Minutes is now included
- Two voice assistants on board
- Screen could be more responsive
- 'Inductive' button is not perfect by any means
- Heart rate and GPS accuracy could be improved still
Fitbit Versa 3 : Frustratingly close to perfection
The Fitbit Versa 3 finally gives us built-in GPS, but sabotages itself with a dubious new design choice- Great look
- Built-in GPS
- Lovely screen
- Strong battery life
- The button replacement is poor
- GPS tracking could be stronger
- Limited additional apps
