I've said it before and I'll say it again: The best activity tracker is the one you'll actually wear every day, otherwise there's no point in buying one at all. Fitbit's new $150 Alta HR is the one most people would wear not just every day, but all night-and that's worth every penny.

In fact, the Fitbit Alta HR is the world's slimmest exercise band with a built-in heart rate sensor. On the design side, the Fitbit altar HR is virtually identical to the previous model.

Fitbit Alta HR
Just like Tony Stark (aka Iron Man) updates his armour, so does Fitbit and this time it's the Alta's turn. lightweight
Tells time, lets me know when I receive texts, phone calls and syncs with my phone well. It does what I want it to and I have had no issues with it. It does not do heartbeat but I don't care too much one way or another on that feature.

"Getting a bit fitter"
In my youth I was a bit of a fitness fanatic, playing some sort of sport almost every day of the week from memory. This was partly because the Sega Megadrive did not have the immersive quality of the modern day 'social' consoles but also because my parents really encouraged me to keep active.
Pros:
- Great motivation
- good value
- great App
Cons:
- Other products have more functions

keeps me moving
My first Fitbit and didn't know what all features I needed so I went basic and am not disappointed. It does what I want it to do - keeps me moving. I set my goals a little high and am proud when I reach them and find myself wanting to walk to add steps.
