Have had my Alta for over 1 year and am very pleased with it (less pleased that my first copy ended at the bottom of the ocean after about 1 month ...). It does its job without worrying too much about it. Registers my steps and reminds me when it's time to touch me.

Really like it
I have been wanting to get one of these devices for some time now but was not willing to give up my watches. I found the Fitbit to fit my right arm and not look awkward when wearing my watch on my left arm.

This product has great features
This is my third fitbit. I started out with the flex and then went to the Charge HR. I am really loving this one. I only hope that it lasts more than a year or year and half. It has changeable bands, battery power lasts longer than the others did.

Love it!
This is my 3rd upgrade in two years. I started with the Flex, then got the Charge, and finally this. This was much sleeker, and imho, more stylish. I liked that you can change the bands as the Charge was a fixed band. I am debating the bracelet band once it comes out.

Doesn't sync with Windows 10 devices without dongl
I bought this as a simple tracker that could sync with my phone and maybe show me some notifications. However, the tracker doesn't sync with any Windows 10 device over Bluetooth - you have to use the included dongle. This means it won't sync with a Windows 10 phone if you have one.

Amazing
I ordered this a while back and have been using it for a couple of weeks. It's changing my life. I set a goal for my steps each day and always beat it. I've had trouble sleeping recently and with my Fitbit Alta it helps me track my nights. It's honestly one of the best things I've ever brought!

Fitbit Alta review: My favorite Fitbit by far
Fitbit's lineup of activity-tracking bands runs the gamut, from the totally basic US$60 Zip to the powerful cardio companion, the US$250 Surge. The new Fitbit Alta is a sleeker, more stylish fitness band than the company has attempted before, and with its launch, the wearables market leader has hit...

Fitbit Alta HR review: Compromising features for a slim profile and 7-day battery life
There's little denying that the Fitbit Alta HR is a reiterative product. It looks very similar to the regular Alta and a bit like a smaller Charge 2, but it sits somewhere between the two in terms of features.
Pros:
- Size It's small enough that it can almost go unnoticed
- This isn't a Flex 2, sure, but it's less prominent than the Charge 2 and won't look weird if you wear a watch or smartwatch on your other wrist, Continuous HR monitoring The highlight feature of the Alta HR - it's in the name after all - is a...
Cons:
- No altimeter I don't use it often, but the option to see how many floors you've climbed is essential for many
- Even the Fitbit One had an altimeter so why Fitbit keeps omitting it in some models is beyond me, No "Multi-sport It means you can't manually start an exercise from your Alta HR like you...
