FitBit Alta HR Review: Blending In
Small, unassuming and packed with an active heart rate scanner, FitBit's Alta HR is a great choice for people looking for a more accurate read at their daily activities . Sure it's a bit pricier than the offerings of other models, but it offers more than just basic step counting and sleep tracking.

The Fitbit Alta HR is an update from its predecessor, the Alta. It now features constant heart rate monitoring, as well as other functionalities. The Alta HR is currently the slimmest design in their repertoire that's equipped with PurePulse, a feature that utilises green LED lights that bounces off...
Pros:
- Heart rate tracking
- Sleep Insights
- Looks
Cons:
- Price
- Not water resistant

Fitbit Alta HR review: Is the HR a good Alta-rnative
Some of us aren't good at motivating ourselves to exercise. Sometimes you get home after a long day at work, and there seems nothing better than popping something frozen into the oven and crawling into bed.

Fitbit Alta HR review
I really like the Alta HR's slim, stealthy design with the Special Edition gunmetal version definitely being my fitness tracker of choice. Fitbit has done an excellent job creating a less is more fitness band that is comfortable to wear with solid features and specs.
Pros:
- Slim & stylish form factor
- Excellent app & fitness ecosystem
- Solid build quality
- Does basic features well
- Sweat-proof
- Easy to swap out bands
Cons:
- Expensive
- Lacking a few nice-to-have features

Love it!
This is my 3rd upgrade in two years. I started with the Flex, then got the Charge, and finally this. This was much sleeker, and imho, more stylish. I liked that you can change the bands as the Charge was a fixed band. I am debating the bracelet band once it comes out.

Doesn't sync with Windows 10 devices without dongl
I bought this as a simple tracker that could sync with my phone and maybe show me some notifications. However, the tracker doesn't sync with any Windows 10 device over Bluetooth - you have to use the included dongle. This means it won't sync with a Windows 10 phone if you have one.

Amazing
I ordered this a while back and have been using it for a couple of weeks. It's changing my life. I set a goal for my steps each day and always beat it. I've had trouble sleeping recently and with my Fitbit Alta it helps me track my nights. It's honestly one of the best things I've ever brought!

This product has great features
This is my third fitbit. I started out with the flex and then went to the Charge HR. I am really loving this one. I only hope that it lasts more than a year or year and half. It has changeable bands, battery power lasts longer than the others did.

Fitbit Alta HR fitness tracker review
Not much can be said about fitness trackers that hasn’t already been written. The wrist-worn wearables record your steps, calories, and other metrics to help you to lose your love handles — or at the very least, feel less guilty about the leftover pizza you had for breakfast. Fitbit’s the undisputed king of these trackers, shipping 5.7 million devices in the second quarter of 2016 and capturing 25 percent of the global fitness market. But even incumbents can’t afford to rest on their laurels. That’s where the Alta HR, Fitbit’s newest tracker, comes in. Fitbit’s Alta HR improves upon last year’s Alta with sleep-tracking and heart rate-monitoring features — all in a slim, compact frame. We came away impressed by the device’s accuracy when tracking heart rate. While we wish the body was waterproof, and the display was a little easier to activate, we think the Alta HR is one of the best fitness trackers you can buy at its price point. It’s near impossible to tell the Alta HR apart from its...
