Fist Of The North Star: Ken's Rage

The ultraviolent manga series Fist Of The North Star is rightfully no stranger to videogame adaptation. It centers around Kenshiro, the 64th successor to a fictional branch of martial arts that can heal physical and psychological wounds, but is usually harnessed for its capability to explode...

Fist of the North Star Ken's Rage

Everything here feels too generic. Maps and characters, other than the primary ones, all look the same, combat is dull and repetitive and it feels like it was designed for a much earlier console.

Signature moves are flashy; There is a lot to do; if you can be bothered; Dream Mode is interesting

Every location is cut from the same cloth; Combat is repetitive and dull; There is absolutely nothing new here

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage

Fist of the North Star is an easy sell, especially as a game. Main-man Kenshiro punches men so hard that they literally explode, and the goofy post-apocalypse world is packed with crazy characters, like burly knuckleheads with pigtails.

+ As ridiculous as its source material in all the right ways

- Stiff, slow, and same-y combat; worthless if you're not an über-fan, - Crap level design, enemy A.I., and boss fights, ? Who's buying these games...and why?

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage

Fist of the North Star is a love story. It's a love story between a man and his fists-fists that make people explode. Realizing it would be selfish to keep this love all to himself, he journeys into the world to share his exploding fists with whomever will have them.

I was hoping for better

I was hoping for better as I do like my action games, but it is ok for a quick shot, unless you do like these types of games then you may think it's good, I would recommend it if you like Ninety Nine Nights, I feel it's the same type of game.

Koei Proves The ‘80s Are Best Left In The ‘80s

Concept: Take a nearly forgotten anime and give it the Dynasty Warriors treatment Graphics: Koei must have glanced at the color spectrum and decided to stick with brown. Most of the backgrounds look like they were hit by the apocalypse Sound: The game allows you to listen to the original Japanese...

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage

Look, I'm not about to lie to anyone - I know little to nothing about the source material for Koei Tecmo's new platformer, beat ‘em up Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage . After playing it, I'm still not sure - I just know there's a lot of gruesome killing...by fingertips.

Fist of the North Star: Ken's Rage

When Western audiences first witnessed Fist of the North Star in the early Nineties the effect was nothing short of jaw-dropping. This was a time when anime imports were scarce and when most people saw 'animation' and 'cartoons' as interchangeable.
