Out of all the 3 Final Fantasy XIII games, X-2 is definitely the best. Playing as Serah and Nole and loved adventuring with them and with Moogle. It's definitely been one of their best for a long time.

This is antehor attempt to support my argument that there are universal ideas that are true for everyone, everywhere and at all times.
When I got the opportunity to review Final Fantasy XIII-2 (from here on in known as FFXIII-2), I was excited and a little anxious at the same time. After all, it's been a couple of years since I've played a Final Fantasy game and I actually didn't get a chance to play Final Fantasy XIII.
Considering the lukewarm reception Final Fantasy X-2 received, resembling a prototype of Project Runway only available in the Teen Vogue "Couture designed by Gaultier" edition, where you changed outfits more often than Lady Gaga at her concert (so we hear), it would be a safe bet to think Square...
A superior game to its predecessor, Final Fantasy XIII-2 is the game that probably should have been originally released. Even if it doesn't quite achieve everything it sets out to do.
This Final Fantasy XIII-2 review holds special relevance to all those who've played 2010's FFXIII.
I have such a love/hate relationship with this game. It's great that it's fast-paced, but like everyone else says, it is too fast paced. I would love to chose the abilities I want to use manually, but if you really want to attain a 5 star rating, you are going to rely heavily on the auto-battle.
Final Fantasy XIII-2's box art features the indomitable Lightning, looking strong and feminine in her tough-as-nails armor and flowing skirt of feathers. You remember Lightning, of course: she spent the majority of Final Fantasy XIII trying to release her sister Serah from a crystalline prison.
Monster collection is fun and addictive; Multiple heartfelt moments combine story and gameplay in effective ways; Caius is a fantastic villain; Impressive; varied visual design
The best characters were sidelined in favor of less interesting ones; Multiple sequences bog down the pace; Main story is relatively easy and short
28th February 2012 - It's been almost two years since Final Fantasy XIII was released here in Oz. It was surrounded with some controversy when it launch internationally as it was the first cross platform Final Fantasy much to the chagrin of Playstation fanboys.
Final Fantasy is a name that's lost its former glory. After such shaky outings as Final Fantasy XII and XIII, and that one numbered online game, the series of titles haven't had the fiery following that any prior release of the same name has had.
