I'm no audiophile but I can tell the difference.

Sounds great for my needs. Drives my Sony MDR-V6 perfectly fine. I am no audiophile but I can tell the noise floor is much lower, and my headsets sound a bit crisper when I had my friends do a blinded sound test. Another benefit is I can use a long usb cord to mount this device under the desk.

Makes driving my Beyer DT 990 Pro 250 ohms much easier

I bought these Beyerdynamic DT 990 Pro 250 ohm headphones. My X-fi soundcard wasn't driving them adequately, and the headphone jack on my Yamaha RX-V765 receiver turned out not to be much better.

Having really needed a headphone amp for my pc- I listen to a lot of stuff off the internet. I checked out a few small headphone amps- the usual companies- & was intrigued why this one was so cheap, yet getting amazing write ups.
