This game starts off looking very good in every way , then you walk into scenarios where you are repeatedly captured and for an average player imposible to get out off and spoils game. Seems designed only expert players in mind. What a waste of what should have been a good game

Love it, lots to do, die heaps, what more do you need, great graphics.

A big part of the cult leader's final plea to you as the player is a large speech about how you're the monster, running around the environment and murdering everything in your path. He even goes so far as to say that there are some problems that can't be solved with a bullet.

Beautiful looking scenery, awesome storyline. That's what I was sold in the trailers (like a sucker) . The truth is Far Cry 5 is no different to any other. Take their strongholds. Complete non-linear mundane tasks. Battle increasingly “more difficult” bad guys who all look and act the same. Get a sniper rifle. Shoot all the alarms. Boom, no more bad guys. Watch long cut scenes which basically have the same message the whole way through. Complete game. Sell for $50 less on TradeMe.

Solid and definitely has an audience. There could be some hard-to-ignore faults, but the experience is fun.

Fantastic fun if you loved Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 4. Best solo campaign game of the series so far, love the totally open world and lack of a mini-map. I seldom fast-traveled anywhere, because I wanted to experience every bit of the map, and I did. I took my time and explored and loved it all.

A polished and refined instalment that values your time more than the previous games and keeps the focus on entertaining you throughout.

In case you hadn’t realised by now, we like this game a lot. It’s a clever refinement to a series that needed a refresh. Like Assassin’s Creed: Origins last year, Ubisoft has taken a beloved series and given it enough attention to make it feel new again. An almost complete success, then. With fantastic villains, a compelling narrative, and gameplay that begs to be devoured, after 30 hours playing the story, we are still going back to mop up side quests. Far Cry 5 might just be the best one of the series yet, and that’s before we even see what the community does with the intriguing Arcade Mode.

Don’t get me wrong it’s a great game with fantastic graphics but I just keep finding myself comparing it to far cry 4. It just seems easier…- Still enjoying it though
