- Side quests and additional content isn't original and quickly becomes a little tiresome - Whilst mocking many of the mechanics that weighed down FC3; Blood Dragon relies on them far too heavily

Make no mistake, Far Cry 3: Blood Dragon is ridiculous. That's obviously a completely intentional decision and it's a beautiful thing. It's wonderful whenever a large publisher puts out a game that is perfectly happy to just be ridiculous and fun.

Concept and presentation are brilliantly executed; Dialogue is often laugh-out-loud funny; Blood Dragons offer an opportunity for a decent new stealth mechanic

Occasional glitches; Pacing is a little erratic; More could have been done around the new Blood Dragon mechanics

These days I don't really like shooters and when Far Cry 3 was announced my expectations were dulled by this sense it would be just another shooter. Not so. Having paid cash and waited patiently while it installed on my PS3 I was greeted by a compelling and open world.

very good to get it on line as in the Game shop they said it wasn't available any more and it was only out while the promotion was on, so really glad to find it available on line, and for less than what they quoted in the Game shop!
