It hurts to not score this higher, especially considering the incredible writing and epic amount of well-varied quests, but the rampant bugs and gameplay that is getting stale really drag this down. Someone please take Gamebryo out back and shoot it.

Fallout: New Vegas ' similarities to Fallout 3 are obvious. The setting is different, but the aesthetic is the same – crumbling buildings, settlements comprised of shacks, unending waves of dusty, tortured wasteland dotted with ruins from a happier past.

As a side story to the main event, Honest Hearts is forgettable and predictable. Where it justifies its asking price is in the takeaway benefits it supplies to the long-term wasteland wanderer.

Well my experience reviewing Fallout: New Vegas has been quite astounding, and in that I mean it was unfortunately not as enjoyable to play as I had hoped. Taking into consideration that I am a fan of the Fallout series, having played all iterations since the original Fallout released in 1997...

Fallout: New Vegas brings this beloved franchise to a location only Fallout could do justice: Vegas. Fallout: New Vegas takes all the action, humor, and post-apocalyptic grime and grit of this legendary series, and raises the stakes.

Fallout 3 was one of my favorite games of 2008. I rarely, if ever, log over 100 hours in a single-player video game, but found myself unable to put the controller down when playing Fallout .

Solid, though brief, piece of DLC that sets itself apart with its strong though compact story.
