A lot of fun to play with mates in a LAN setting, also good to play online. Makes you want to dust off Left 4 Dead

Outside of 1984's Duck Hunt and Big Buck Hunter , there have been relatively few (popular) games about hunting, let alone ones that allow the prey to fight back. Despite the lack of peers, it's a compliment to say that Evolve represents the apex predator of the genre.

Given its high profile nature, the core elements of Evolve should be relatively common knowledge to almost anyone reading this review. It's garnered enormous amounts of attention over the past 6 months; much of it, in recent weeks, has been negative, and that's due mainly to Turtle Rock Studio's...
Most multiplayer games are either intense co-op sessions where you have to rely on others to survive or vicious competitive battles where the best players feel like gods. Evolve manages to not only capture both elements within a single game, but within each and every match.
