Just installed scanner. Everything fine EXCEPT it reads one page, then shows a blank page, and so on thruout the scan. How can I correct or elinate this happening?

The DS-510 Scanner is fast!! Fast!!! I particularly like the ability to scan both sides at the same time. Directing the files to the right folder is a bit slow and tedious. Also, I own three other multiply use Epson printers/Scanner, etc.
A convincing, keenly priced sheet-fed document scanner, but it's not the best
The Canon and Fujitsu scanners have stiff competition indeed from this handy little Epson. Robust but ruthlessly effective, it's reasonably fast and comes with powerful software. The standard DS-510, in particular, is very good value for money for serious businesses who have lots of paperwork to convert to a digital format.
Epson lists the Epson WorkForce DS-510($753.99 at Amazon) on its website under workgroup scanners, and, indeed, it offers enough capability for a small office or workgroup. However, the low price and small size make it a strong candidate for a personal desktop scanner as well. More important, its fast speed, 50-sheet automatic document feeder (ADF), and bundled software make it a good fit for either role. It doesn't offer quite enough to replace the Canon imageFormula DR-C125 as Editors' Choice, but it comes in a close second. Both of these scanners do an excellent job for optical character recognition (OCR) and document management, and they both offer similar raw scan speeds, with Epson rating the DS-510 at 26 pages per minute (ppm) and 52 images per minute (ipm)—with one image on each side of a page. The Canon DR-C125 is a little faster at text recognition and it does a better job with business cards, but it also costs more. Setup and SoftwareAt a compact 6.1 by 11.7 by 6.0 in...
The Epson WorkForce DS-510 document scanner offers a 50-sheet automatic document feeder, fast scans, duplex (two-sided) scanning, and a capable scan utility.
Automatic document feeder; Duplex (two-sided) scanning; Excellent text recognition and document management
Did not do well with recognizing text on business cards in our tests
Doesn't scan envelopes or insurance cards unless you use a different program - epson support couldn't make it work so they had me use a different...
Speed for price
won't scan cards or envelopes
Worked great for a year but the multifeed just went up in 2 units I own. The issue is the same on both units a plastic cam splays at a connection point and renders the feature useless over time. It's safe to say this part will fail on every unit, I would recommend avoiding.
I scan documents into QuickBooks. I used the Fujitsu Scansnap for two years and I have to say: it is a great printer. The Epson is just as good.Easy setup, TWAIN compatible, fast, works exactly the way it's supposed to.
It looks pretty on my desk, hope it is made operational soon. It seems like a good machine and probably will prove to be so once the connectivity drivers for Mavericks are ready for us lowly users.
This scanner is very easy to hook up and wow~ does it scan fast and puts the images (files) in order for me. I really just load the scanner and push a button!!
