Prints flawlessly of course, there was no doubt. It's nice to have a printer that works well with the newer Windows (I still have Win 7) instead of the old Win XP drivers that the R1900 had. Too bad they didn't update those drivers, the R1900 is not a bad printer at all.
I used to own the Epson R3000 printer and really liked it, but the SureColor P600 is a better printer. Inks are more vivid in color, but what realty impressed me is monochrome printing. Blacks are darker, and overall resolution is superb.
Epson unveiled its SureColor P600 13″ printer last fall and started shipping earlier this year. As a replacement for the popular R3000, the P600 is a first P-series (for "photo") printer in the SureColor line.
I think it will be an excellent printer & I was very happy with the cashback offer & the bonus, just a bit fiddly to set up!
Complicated; Bulky
My photographic art really stands out when printed on the heavy fine art paper. It looks hand painted rather than printed. The colors are a perfect match to my iMAC monitor and required no adjustments.
This will be the fifth Epson Pro printer I have used and it is a good improvement over both the Photo R2000 and the Pro 3880. It takes a little time to get use to the touch screen, but the increase in ink cartridge capacity from the R2000 is welcome.
Desktop photo inkjet printer release cycles are glacially slow compared to those of digital cameras so it was something of a surprise to learn Epson was going to launch the 13-inch SureColor P600 Professional Photo Printer this morning.
Arrived on time. Had it running within 30 minutes. Set it up on 2 laptops with USB connection and wi-fi. A replacement for defunct R2880. Initially dissappointed with prints, all literature about printing says print from Photoshop, had to fine tune and use trial and error.
Great Picture Quality; Simple Controls
Bulky
The second one, bought to print giclee prints of paintings. The colour reproduction is clean and bright. I really appreciated help from Printerbase support with the correct drivers so my workflow moved smoothly from the old one to the new.
