Fast, but jams

Purchased this scanner to digitize records into our Electronic Health Records software. It is definitely FAST, but jams 75% of the time. This is particularly maddening because there is NO JAM RECOVERY built into the software, so you have to start over each time.

Epson should be embarrassed

Epson rates it 40 ppm B&W-200 dpi. It actually did scan 40 ppm for a while when scanning B&W 200 dpi, but after about 100 sheets, it would scan 5 sheets, then pause for a count of 2, then another 5 & another pause.

Seems solidly built - it's heavy enough
