Sennheiser GSP 600

It's a stupid thing to get excited about in the grand scheme of things, but Sennheiser's new ‘contact pressure slider' on their flagship GSP 600 gaming headset really caught my eye when it was announced at this year's CES tech bonanza.

Sennheiser GSP 600

The Sennheiser GSP 600 is the company's new top-of-the-line gaming headset. It's essentially a simple analog headset with no RGB LEDs or similar gimmicks. Does it offer enough in terms of sound and microphone quality, as well as wearing comfort, to justify the $250/€249 price tag?

Sennheiser GSP 600 Headset Review

Sennheiser's GSP 600 is currently the flagship gaming headset in the company's lineup, with a price to match at £219.99. Although the long-running fight for attention between gaming tech brands like Razer, Logitech, HyperX , Plantronics and the rest remains a delight, it's always exciting to see other brands take a swing at the gaming accessories and gaming tech space.

Stellar audio; Great bass

Uncomfortable headband; Inflexible microphone

Sennhesier GSP-600 review: The right pieces in the wrong places

Although the long-running fight for attention between gaming tech brands like Razer, Logitech, HyperX, Plantronics and the rest remains a delight, it’s always exciting to see other brands take a swing at the gaming accessories and gaming tech space.

The Sennheiser GSP 600 lives up the brand’s pedigree for sound quality but fails to seal the deal on other fronts.

Stellar audio,; Great bass;

Uncomfortable headband; Inflexible microphone;

Sennheiser GSP 600 headphones review

Having your head squished like a grape by a piece of audio hardware has never been quite so satisfying as it is with the Sennheiser GSP 600. It is, by some margin, the stiffest headset we've clamped to our collective skulls in some time. Not that we found it uncomfortable, just firm.

Surprising well made

I am an audiophile at heart. I have cables for my IEM that cost 4 times as much as this headset. But when it comes to gaming, I rather have a headphone w/mic for ease. So it was rather surprising that the audio clarity was very nice!

Sennheiser GSP 600 gaming headset review

2018 seems to be the year of excellent gaming headsets. We've already seen headsets like the SteelSeries Arctis Pro and Arctis Pro Wireless , which we consider to be arguably the best gaming headsets out there. Now, Sennheiser is back with a new gaming headset of its own - the Sennheiser GSP 600.

Sennheiser GSP 600 Review

Sennheiser has carved out quite a reputation in the audio industry, as they're well known for both their low end and high-end headphones, as well as their PC, and GAME series of headsets. Sennheisers' GSP lineup is a little fresher and brings a new design language as well as other features.

+ Precise; smooth and rich sound; + Very solid build quality; + Adjustable tension adjustment; + Clear and detailed microphone; + Works with multiple platforms; Neutral; +- Price; +- Light on some newer features
