When we were looking at this vacuum cleaner, the basic one was $200 less than the animal, which comes with a raft of attachments. I initially questioned the price difference but bought the more expensive one as we have dogs.

I love Dysons.... And have had one since they first came out. Recently, my most recent one stopped working to its full potential and I have been going crazy trying to clean up kitz fluff and other sneaky floor stuff. So, finally, today, I bought myself a new one.

I bought this vacuum about a month ago and it is by far the best vacuum ever! The suction is absolutely phenomenal! The length of the cord is very long, so I can get through most of my house without having to unplug over and over.

Been using for two years now. PROS Great Suction. Tangle Free Tool is great for removing dog hair. CONS. The turbine brush slings dirt and debris everywhere. My opinion is that it spins too fast. A slower brush with higher torque and brushes that grab would be better.

We already have a Dyson Cordless Hoover but have become disappointed with it primarily due to its short battery life. We are already on its second battery pack too. We therefore decided to go back to a corded solution which despite comments to the contrary is still the only real option for a medium...

This vacuum exceeded my expectations. I've had Dyson in the past and while it was good, this blew it away. I read reviews that said the roller isn't powerful enough but I find this not true; it's got plenty of power and if you pull the trigger, it slows down so you can vacuum throw rugs.

The Dyson Cinetic Ball is the best vac for suction I ever used. I am 67 and my hands are getting arthritic. However, it is super heavy, difficult to maneuver and not ergonomically friendly at changing attachments. Dusting with the brush is extremely uncomfortable. So is using the upholstery brush.
