Dungeons 2 is your standard RTS with the small exception that you are playing as the evil side. You are the Dungeon Lord and will summon warriors to fight alongside you in battle as you try and take back the surface from those nasty humans.

Don't expect ultra realism. This is not that game. No, this is a storybook come to life and narrated by an English narrator in a very Shrek -esque manner. This is not a fairytale like you heard when you were a child. No, this is a fairytale about Ultimate Evil winning.
Sent to the torture rack Dungeons 2 is a heart-breaker. It has a lot of charm, some ambitious ideas, and a genuinely fun dungeon builder buried somewhere deep inside it. If it focused on its strengths, I could see it being a great, laid back entry in the dungeon-building genre.
For the horde.
Dungeon building works well; Humorous script; Bright and colourful
Narration can become irritating; UI isn't terribly helpful; RTS element is poorly implemented
I bought this game after i saw it was the same as dungeon keeper. I have never been so happy
There were two proper entries in the series, although a poorly received mobile version did release the other year. The franchise has been dormant in the form most want to see it in since 1999 and it never made it off of personal computers.
Feels very much like Dungeon Master; Lots to do; A solid RTS and dungeon management game; Amusing narrator
Gets very repetitive; Technical issues; Basic looking animations; PS4 controls are very clunky
There is something satisfying about being able to control a giant hand, as you slap around ghoulish little snots to mine out and excavate the underground and achieve the ultimate lair.
Entertaining Dungeon Keeper-style underworld gameplay; Usually humorous narration; No micro-transactions
Simplified over world gameplay; Narrator occasionally gets annoying
Recreating the magic of Bullfrog's 1997 classic ( Dungeon Keeper ), Dungeons 2 allows you to explore you inner most evil as you build deadly dungeons heaving with traps and raise hellish armies of orcs and demons.
