The bland and ugly Duke Nukem Forever turns a famous gaming icon into an embarrassment.

So this is what we've been waiting for, it seems: a tedious and unattractive sci-fi shooter that would quickly hit the bargain bin if it weren't called Duke Nukem Forever. Duke may be an icon, but he's just going through the motions in this stitched-together collection of poorly paced levels, which...

It's fun to shrink enemies and stomp on them

Long; boring platforming and driving sections; The shooting lacks impact; Ugly visuals and jerky frame rates; Short levels separated by long loading screens; Fails to be shocking; sexy; or funny

Duke Nukem Forever

I have played and completed Duke Nukem Forever . Right now the me of ten years ago is gushing with questions, in particular "how good is it?" The simple answer is "not as good as Duke Nukem 3D was". For more than that, read on. So, am I going to take 13 plus years of development into account?

Duke Nukem Forever is Finally Here

The best and worst thing to happen to Duke Nukem is this very game. Its the best thing to happen to him because it took an otherwise dead character (you have to keep in mind, this guy came to be in 1991) and made him last far longer than anyone could have ever expected. Sure, if anyone?).

Better Late Than Never: Duke Nukem Forever

Did we ever think that this day would come? It's been FOURTEEN YEARS since we first heard about Duke Nukem Forever, and yes the long story of the poster child of vaporware and "development hell" is well documented.

Duke Nukem Forever (PS3) Review

Duke Nukem Forever is a first person shooter that tries to blend over-the-top storyline with comedic injections of super-machismo heroism. The game comes 12 years after the previous game, which was a huge favorite of gamers.

Duke Nukem Forever (PS3) - Review

Seriously, is this a joke? I know all about Duke Nukem Forever 's infamous development and it would be remarkably unfair to judge the game based on that, especially since the game has been made and remade and started from scratch a dozen times or so, but even if you judge the game entirely on its...

PS3/X360 Review - 'Duke Nukem Forever'

Duke Nukem will bring his signature brand of babe-lovin', cigar-smoking, beer-chugging and ass-kicking action as he once again saves the Earth and our babes from hordes of invading aliens.

Duke Nukem Forever

Over a decade in the making, Duke Nukem Forever has finally been unleashed on the unsuspecting masses. Does Duke's next-gen foray have the same swagger as his groundbreaking 3D debut, or should it have remained in obscurity forevermore?

Review: Duke Nukem Forever (360/PS3)

At long last, Duke Nukem Forever is here. Unfortunately, it's still stuck in 1996, and will undoubtedly disappointment fans awaiting Duke's comeback as well as mystify newer generations of gamers who are used to a certain level of quality in their shooters.
