This is by far the best driving game I have ever played... its a great mix between burnout paradise and NFS hot pursuit... I would defiantly recommend this game.
Its a good game. Its about a cop that is in a coma that he fell into while trying to find out a crime issue in San Francisco, and while he is in this coma he finds out eventually what to do exactly, its kind of like Final Destination in a way of how someone predicts the future in visions.
The Driver series sees its beginnings back on the Playstation 1 and was one of the first games to feature a full city for players to drive around. This is a series that has definitely seen it's ups and downs, unfortunately mostly downs in recent history.
This is the first Driver game I've played since the original that made me feel the way the original did. The cars all handle well and the story is cheesy or whatever, but I like the care and attention to details that went into the game.
Games are full of excuses, whether they're telling you that a terrorist strike has closed off half the city you're exploring or that swimming is a bad idea when you have electricity coursing through your veins. As excuses go though, Driver: San Francisco throws up one of the more outrageous.
Madness. I can think of no other word to describe the latest installment of Driver . Whoever had the idea of designing a racing game that takes place in the roving, cascading, crowded streets of San Francisco should be commended...then immediately committed.
Driver San Francisco manages to do something other games in long-running franchises often forget, surprising the player with something totally new and unique. By adding the "Shifting" element, Driver San Francisco raises itself well above the typical driving sandbox games.
I really like how you can change cars by the way I used to race with my Dad and I enjoyed it.
