Evolution Studios' long-awaited racer finally rolls onto the PS4 forecourt. After showing very well at E3 2013 and '14, does it deliver on its promise? Unfortunately, not quite. This is a tough review to write. Only a few weeks ago, I nominated DriveClub as potential Game of the Year .

This PS4-exclusive racer certainly looks like a supercar, but how does it handle?

DriveClub VR had the potential to be amazing but the 'stolen' graphics makes this game look like something from a few console generations ago!

(Don't) drive together

+ Addictive single-player mode, + Multiplayer is great when it works, + Great lighting effects; THE SUN, + Car models look incredibly sexy

- Clubs are a waste of time; - Club-only rewards are ridiculous; - Cars handle like they're driving on butter; - Aggressive AI

I'll start off right out of the gate by saying this; I know how inflammatory the title of this review seems to be. I'll also say that this is a battle that Sony started on their own with a cheeky little ad released just days before DriveClub hit retail shelves.

I'd really rather not be here, writing this review right now. I'd just as soon wait until Driveclub, a fantastic variation on the usual driving games, achieves the state it deserves to be in, a state I have every reasonable expectation it will eventually reach, a state I've enjoyed firsthand before...

Hoping the gift is as good as the wrapping paper. As I am sure you have seen from videos and photos already, the game is absolutely gorgeous. The cars not only look beautiful on the outside, but the level of detail on the inside of the cars, the details for the various race locations, and the sun...

# Driveclub was supposed to be Sony's big racer for the launch of PlayStation 4 back in November 2013, while also showcasing Sony's concept for PlayStation Plus versions of titles that could be upgrading to the full game for cheaper than buying the game normally.

First time ever buying from zavvi, I bought the Thrustmaster T300rs which you get drive club free, a great deal. Still waiting for the Wheel as its on order but aslong as I know I will get it I'm happy, Driveclub arrived next day, so fast really please with it, I will be spending more money here...

The game graphic quality is outstanding the car sounds are all to similar and the driving controls need work it is a hard game to drive for a challenge, if you think you can manage it try it.
