Driveclub review

(Don't) drive together

+ Addictive single-player mode, + Multiplayer is great when it works, + Great lighting effects; THE SUN, + Car models look incredibly sexy

- Clubs are a waste of time; - Club-only rewards are ridiculous; - Cars handle like they're driving on butter; - Aggressive AI

Driveclub review

Driveclub is incredibly well put together but slightly bland, and is hampered by a lack of distinct personality.

Technically impressive on all fronts; Insane polish; An excellent social multiplayer system

Some design decisions sap the fun from races; Feels antiseptic; A bit skinny on the singleplayer front; No local multiplayer

Chasing That Familiar Feeling

Concept: Prove that a predominately online racing title doesn't just have to be about PvP racing to be fun Graphics: The lighting in particular makes DriveClub look great, and elements in the environment like smoke or confetti are great touches that prevent the world from being sterile Sound: I...

Driveclub

When Sony unveiled the PS4 and introduced Driveclub, thoughts were mixed on whether Motorstorm developer Evolution Studios could deliver a more realistic racer that stands out among the competition.

Driveclub (PS4) - Review

Nine months late to the party, but better late than never, Driveclub has finally made its way to the PS4. What was supposed to be a launch game for Sony's newest console system when it was first revealed back in 2013, Driveclub became heavily delayed due to problems with its social system and the...

Driveclub

From the makers of the MotorStorm series on the PS3, the first game was one of the first big PS3 games, known for its brutal off-road racing and incredible graphics. What followed were two excellent sequels, Pacific Rift and Apocalypse.

DriveClub review

So is it a green or red flag? DriveClub is a good game, that much is clear, and if you prefer to race in a sociable rather than solitary setting then it's a very good game. But it can't acquire that "great game" label in our opinion, which is disappointing given that it's expected to be a...

Looks great; cars are just arcadey enough; handling feels more planted and real-world than Forza Horizon 2; feels properly social when online; always something new to do; Face-Offs bring something new to the driving game party

Lacks definable personality; sometimes feels lashed together; social features don't differ wildly from rivals; doesn't offer anything truly revolutionary

DriveClub (PS4) Review – Forza Killer? LOL… Just No

I'll start off right out of the gate by saying this; I know how inflammatory the title of this review seems to be. I'll also say that this is a battle that Sony started on their own with a cheeky little ad released just days before DriveClub hit retail shelves.
