Dreamcast Collection

Four classics from yesteryear indiscriminately slapped on one disc seems like no way to treat games that helped define an entire console. But despite the Dreamcast Collection's helter-skelter, bare-bones presentation, its contents - Sonic Adventure, Sega Bass Fishing, Crazy Taxi, and Space Channel...

+ A good variety of gameplay; decent value for $30

- Minimal upgrades or additions for 360; controls can be sluggish, just like in the old days, - Overall presentation lacks flair; games boot you out to dashboard when you exit each one, ? Oh, Pudding.

Dreamcast Collection Review

I will be honest. When Sega announced it was bringing back some of the classics from its adored Dreamcast console, I was pumped.

+ Cheaper than buying on XBLA; + Space Channel still rocks; + Brings back some memories

A glorified game launcher; Some games did not age well; No extras; Where is my punk music

Dreamcast Collection

When we posted our top ten picks for Dreamcast games we'd like to see on Xbox Live Arcade, we thought we'd done a pretty good job of covering all bases. This first Dreamcast Collection for the Xbox 360, then, doesn't actually contain a single one of our picks. Ahh... umm. Right.

Dreamcast Collection review (X360)

What's with these rubbish ‘collections'? Dreamcast Collection continues a distasteful trend publishers have got going, where they package a mere handful of games, many of which are weak or unheralded or would not be what the buying public has in mind for the collection, and try to cash in – preying...

Dreamcast Collection

Sega knows a thing or two about re-releasing their greatest hits in video game compilations. Over the past few years they've turned repackaging Genesis games into an art form, offering generous helpings of 16-bit games at a budget price.

Dreamcast Collection (X360) - Review

You could be forgiven for being excited when SEGA first announced their intention to revive some of their classic Dreamcast titles. After all, the Dreamcast is undoubtedly one of most revered consoles in recent gaming history, and it had a stellar library to go with that reputation.

Dreamcast Collection

When SEGA announced they would be releasing a Dreamcast Collection, I have to admit I was pumped. The Dreamcast rejuvenated my love of gaming when I started to lose interest. Games like SoulCalibur, NFL 2K1 and Speed Devils bring back some fond memories and the thoughts of playing the games all over...

Dreamcast Collection

Dreamcast Sampler would have been a more apt title. After putting together the wonderful Ultimate Genesis Collection and the stellar Sega Ages line, it's hard not to feel like Sega dropped the ball with Dreamcast Collection.

Review: Dreamcast Collection (Xbox 360)

I think a lot of Dreamcast fans were pretty stoked to hear that Sega would be releasing a game titled Dreamcast Collection for the Xbox 360. Despite its short lifespan, the Dreamcast managed to introduce a number of stellar titles as well as several features that are pretty standard in today's...
