My hit points are full thanks to Family Friendly Gaming purchasing a copy of Dragon Quest XI Echoes of an Elusive Age on the Playstation 4. The PR and Marketing human beings representing this game failed Family Friendly Gaming Universe like attacking a boss when your char has one hit point.

It's not an exaggeration to say the release of a new Dragon Quest game is enough to send Japan into fervor. Capturing the quintessential elements of traditional JRPGs, Dragon Quest is crafted by legendary series creator Yuji Horii, character designer Akira Toriyama and composer Koichi Sugiyama.

Loved Dragon Quest VIII and have been waiting patiently for XI. It's amazing! I've logged well over 200+ hours and find myself delaying the finish because I don't want it to end. The graphics are a joy, gameplay is classic with a nice character builder, and the amount of content is immense.

What I can say..Dragon Quest is just a superb game and a must for the jrpg lover! The delivery was super quick!

One day, Dragon Quest may succumb and drop turn-based combat. Thankfully, that is not today. Echoes of an Elusive Age may play it very safe, but the carefully balanced combat and wealth of ways to build the characters keeps things from getting boring.

It is great to have another top notch jrpg available for this console generation especially the first dragon quest game to home consoles in the west. This game has everything you need a great story and beautiful animations treat yourself to this gem.

Same basic gameplay from the past couple of decades; towns start feeling far too similar, except for visual flair; skill system is a little bland

I loved DragonQuest VIII and this one is almost as good as the past one. Recommend if you like J-Rpg
