Ultimate Tenkaichi is easily the best looking Dragon Ball Z game I've ever seen. The characters look just like the popular anime series, complete with intense action and all of the characters you've come to know and love. On the surface it looks like it has everything going for it.

This game has changed so much compared to the other newer dragonball games I have. I would recommend it as a no buy. Dislike the fight mode and I really feel let down. Also it didn't have the characters all the other games did.

Greetings, dear readers, and allow me to apologize in advance. This review will contain a bit of a personal bent because this game made it personal. A little background: I have tremendously fond memories of the Dragon Ball Z: Budokai Tenkaichi series of games on PlayStation 2.

I really liked last year's DBZ game, Dragon Ball Z: Burst Limit 2. It felt like the franchise had finally achieved some serious attention with a game that was both deep and fun.

I know, I'm sorry; this review is a few months behind the times. The latest Dragonball Z fighter, Ultimate Tenkaichi, came out last fall, and I'm just now getting around to reviewing it.

This game is fun when you first play it, but after awhile itll bore you. in all honesty, but on the upside while you play you can feel the child in you having fun!

The battle presentation is spot on, and the system is half way there, but Dragon Ball Z: Ultimate Tenkaichi is still only half way to being the Ultimate Dragon Ball Z experience.

Originally I didn't really enjoy this game, but over time it has grown on me. Ultimate Tenkaichi is probably the most pure DBZ experience you will get in any game of the name. The characters look beautifully rendered, the animations are crisp and intense, and battles are fast and ridiculous looking.
