I want to make one thing immediately clear, I am not a game reviewer who automatically discounts a game because it is based on the Dragon Ball Z universe. In fact I'm a huge fan of Dragon Ball, I own the entire unedited series on DVD.

From all the hype this game had got from all the promotion etc .. i was very disapointed with the gameplay. Having said that the graphics are amazing for this game. graphics 10/10.

Definitely not as good as it's predecessors. Still a fun game, but I was not excited playing it - not like the older versions. I did like the fact that you could make your own character but there wasn't much freedom.

No ordinary human could ever perform the kinds of tremendously devastating and destructive attacks that the characters of the Dragon Ball Z universe regularly pull off. But even for Goku, Vegeta, Piccolo, and the rest of the gang, such abilities take dedication, training, and a great deal of energy...

Visuals capture the over-the-top combat style of the anime

Simple; repetitive fighting mechanics; Flow of battle often determined by chance rather than skill; Tedious boss fights that make poor use of quick-time events

I have finished the game and the game is totally awesome if you are a dragonball z fan and you haven't played the game yet the graphics are also cool a must buy, and to add it to your dbz collection I am not rating full stars because I did not like giant boss battles very much but still fun to play

Gameplay is limited, annoying, frustrating and surely not an entertainment experience. Avoid this one. Sold it in a week.

Amazing game

This "game" is a technical demo at best. I don't know how the testers passed this game as playable and entertaining, but the interactivity is less than in Sumotori. As the other sane and genuinely disappointed fans I can only put up a good word for the graphics and visual effects.

The main plot is the main story. You probably know it by now, and if you don't, then I suggest you watch Dragon ball Kai in jap with English subtitles, then DBZ for the Buu saga. Don't count on the game story mode.
