Entertaining Dragon Ball game but I must stress that this is only for fans. The game looks nice and has lots of carácter customisation. Is not without its flaws though --> -Battles can be very tedious and repetitive due to lack of variety.

Early last year I sat down with Dragon Ball Z: Battle of Z as a big DBZ fan who was just beginning to write for this site. What I got was a rehashed, lacklustre product that felt more like a hazing to joining the team (it was) than a pleasant experience in gaming.
From being able to create your own character, the battle system is very easy and fun that anyone can immense on it. Unlike other fighting games where you have to input commands to use their special moves, on this game every thing can be done with ease.
You can only tell the same story so many times, and Dragon Ball games are well past their allotment. I've seen Raditz perforated by the Special Beam Cannon more than 100 times by now, and while I love the series' grandiose narrative and iconic moments, it has long needed a spark.
Detailed character customization; New; interesting take on a tired story
Basic; loose controls make for uneven gameplay; Immense enemy health bars result in shallow; frustrating end game

Dragon Ball Xenoverse is a pretty addictive and satisfying entry in the series, despite some noticeable shortcomings.
Dragonball Z has a lengthy series of video games. Some of the games were more mediocre, while others offered simplistic fighting gameplay allowing anyone to join in on the action. All do a great job at giving fans of the show a chance to relive their favorite moments.
"Why didn't Trunks just wish for the timeline to be fixed?"
Dragon Ball: Xenoverse is the latest in an unsurprisingly long list of games based on the hugely popular Dragon Ball manga and subsequent anime series. It's hard to believe that Dragon Ball is 30 years old now, and as a matter of fact, it's been almost 20 years since the original run of the manga...
