I ordered the xbox 360 version of the game. While the delivery was done on time, on opening the package I found that the seller had sent me a used disc. 1. The seal of the plastic case was broken 2. Torn game manual 3.

I *loved* the original Dragon Age: Origins (DA:O), and I really wanted to like Dragon Age 2 (DA2). I finished the original DA:O with 4 characters, and I bought every single DA:O DLC. I barely finished DA2. Compared to DA:O, DA2 is sub-par in every respect. Pros: - Good (but not great) story.
OMG!! OMG!! i pre-order this game becaue the first 1 was great but this 1 sucks the gameplay is way better that origins but they said that the graphics was better o yes thy are better that origins but they still SUCK!!!!
Coming less than a year-and-a-half after its predecessor -- and in the wake of widespread acclaim over Bioware's Mass Effect 2 -- Dragon Age 2 comes with the baggage of expectation and apprehension that seems requisite for all major developers, especially one that has become as prolific as the...
Characterizations are incredible; Conversations are deeply engrossing; Production design is much improved over predecessor
Overall story lacks direction; Dungeon types repeat endlessly; Combat is decidedly uneven
I guess people liked the origin stories in the first game so much that BioWare went ahead and made the sequel one giant origin story that cuts short just before it actually goes anywhere. It's as if someone made a Batman movie that ended with Bruce Wayne putting on his costume for the first time.
Like I said in my dragon age 2 review great game but don't bother with a second hand signed addition as you will find that all the extras have already been claimed so your paying extra for nothing extra.
Legacy includes some new enemies, 3 side-quests and a decent plot for the main quest. The DLC costs $10 for around 1-2 hours of gameplay. If you enjoyed Dragon Age II you might like this as well, but if you were disappointed with Dragon Age II than Legacy isn't for you.
Button mashing or single input for RPGs? What kind of quest structure do you like to see in them?
Overall the story lacked somewhat in length and did not cover the grey wardens enough, you did fight against four new type of Darkspawn but once you have faced them it becomes repetitive.
New location; Interesting story
Linear path; Mostly the same enemies
. It focuses on the story of 'The Champion', a Human character who rises to fame and power across the course of the game and promised a brand new graphics style and more intense combat. But do the multitude of changes in the game devalue the Dragon Age tale?
