"In all fairness, the first Dragon Age (Origins) Was an absolute flop in my opinion, I hated that game and got bored of it really quickly. I decided to rent this, I really don't know why when I KNEW I hated the first one. And I absolutely loved it, The story was great and the graphics were amazing.

I don't think it beats Origins, but it is still a great game. They have changed a phew functions that didn't need changing and some of the characters arent as memorable, but the action is more colourful and intense than before. Would recommend a rental. 8/10.

. It focuses on the story of 'The Champion', a Human character who rises to fame and power across the course of the game and promised a brand new graphics style and more intense combat. But do the multitude of changes in the game devalue the Dragon Age tale?

BioWare surprised at the end of 2009 with what seemed like a 3D version of its venerable dungeon crawling franchise, Baldur's Gate. In reality it combined the same great storytelling and party-based combat found in its sci-fi epic, Mass Effect but in a Dungeons & Dragons-inspired setting.

A more focussed story that centers around a man and his family, struggling to make their way in a new city; A refreshing break from always playing the savior of the world, Dialog is interesting and thought provoking, Sharper and brighter textures, Fantastic voice acting, Special...

The theme of "mages: good or evil?" is recycled a bit too much throughout the game;  Still fairly basic environmental- and character models; Forgettable music and sound effects; Good versus evil moral choices are still pretty arbitrary;  Everything is structured so there is little in the way of...

Legacy includes some new enemies, 3 side-quests and a decent plot for the main quest. The DLC costs $10 for around 1-2 hours of gameplay. If you enjoyed Dragon Age II you might like this as well, but if you were disappointed with Dragon Age II than Legacy isn't for you.

If you really loved Origins like I did, then you will probably find that almost everything about the game has been dumbed-down, but as disappointing as this was compared to Origins I still really enjoyed it. I personally think the combat has been improved, but a lot of the strategy has been removed.

Extremely Mainstreamed

Playing through Dragon Age 2 was a chore for a lot of people, others have been quick to forgive Bioware for delivering a product that didn't seem up to their normal standard of quality. I find myself in the latter group, but still maintain that they could have released a better game.

Button mashing or single input for RPGs? What kind of quest structure do you like to see in them?

Dragon Age 2 starts with a choice of 6 back stories, but you have to be human, male or female. You can choose to be a rogue, a mage or a warrior, a choice which has a significant impact on the game.

Like I said in my dragon age 2 review great game but don't bother with a second hand signed addition as you will find that all the extras have already been claimed so your paying extra for nothing extra.
