RPG If we die, we will die in battle. Together. I think I may have been too hard on the original with my review score. I gave it 7/10 but I look back on it very fondly and I bought all of the (mostly poor) DLC with little hesitation.

Overall the game was great. There are plenty of missions to keep you occupied. Multiple playthroughs are needed to get everything out of the game; probably two. But it will be less time consuming than the four possible stories that DA: Origins left you with.

OMG!! OMG!! i pre-order this game becaue the first 1 was great but this 1 sucks the gameplay is way better that origins but they said that the graphics was better o yes thy are better that origins but they still SUCK!!!!

Following on from the successful Dragon Age: Origins and it's plethora of DLC comes Bioware's next foray into classic Role Playing Games, or is it? Much to my disappointment I will have to stamp a dirty big Action in front of Role Playing Game.

Dragon Age 2 should have been a large expansion to the original. It feels like a large expansion or add on. It does not seem to be a proper sequel imho... To BioWare: Please do not sacrifice the best features you have built Origins on for the sake of simplicity. Its not worth it...

Beautiful graphics on my new TV with Xbox 360 HDMI; Absolutely love how they have redesigned mage combat; I hated having my healer die from 2 criticals from a rogue in DA:O; Now my healer can actually put up a fight; All of the classes seem much more balanced.

Would have like more original dungeons; A couple of people have already mentioned this, but yes they do reuse a couple of dungeons which is a bit disappointing; More party control would have been nice.

Dragon Age was Bioware's spiritual successor to their Baldur's Gate series from the over a decade ago. Baldur's Gate was the first breakthrough hit for Bioware and holds a special place in a lot of gamer's hearts. It did the tactical RPG genre right.

Overall the story lacked somewhat in length and did not cover the grey wardens enough, you did fight against four new type of Darkspawn but once you have faced them it becomes repetitive.

The first thing I would like to talk about is the imprved gameplay. The battle system is now fluent and not a turn based battle system disguised as a real time battle system. The attacks meld nicely into one another to give an exciting experience.

Parents need to know that Dragon Age II is a violent role-playing game that glorifies bloody fantasy combat and features sexually-charged sequences that stop just shy of showing the act itself. It is also a true role-playing game that focuses on storytelling and character development.
