Dr. Kawashima's Body and Brain Exercises

My body may be 22 years old, but my brain's age is more than double that. This scientific conclusion comes courtesy of an overly smiley doctor and his blob-like sidekick. For the record, the exact figure is 54 which means I'd better get a refund on that English Literature degree.

Dr Kawashima's Body and Brain Exercises

It was only time before our good friend, Dr Kawashima from the excellent Nintendo DS game (Dr. Kawashima's Brain Training) would arrive on the XBox 360, more particularly on the Kinect, thanks to its intuitive and controllerless system. Just like the Nintendo DS game, Dr.

Dr. Kawashima's Body and Brain Exercises Review

It's true, you know, Dr Kawashima is a real life doctor person - a neuroscientist, no less. Not knowing much about the man who single-handedly put games consoles into the wrinkly hands of pensioners, I decided to do a little sleuth work.

Works well with Kinect technology; Potentially entertaining high-score battles

Lack of portability limits the appeal in comparison to the DS titles; Limited number of exercises may become stale fairly rapidly

'Dr Kawashima's Body & Brain Exercises' (360)

helped to change many long-running and deep-seated preconceptions about video games and who could play them. Gaming was no longer solely the pursuit of sexually frustrated teenage boys with a love of violence; instead it could be enjoyed by all comers, from ageing thespians to Irish popstars, from...

Dr Kawashima's Body and Brain Exercises review

Dr Kawashima's Body and Brain Exercises for Kinect may be limited and occasionally messy, but it's gently compelling and inventive workout for the mind, writes Tom Hoggins.

A lot of fun!

This is a great game and can't wait to use it at Christmas where all the family can make fools of themselves. Loads of different games and very different to levels that I am used to with Wii Fit etc.
