Cannot be overstated how amazing the model is

Cannot be overstated how amazing the model is, the detail is amazing! I would have loved for the eyes to glow but there is room to add LEDs to the cannons and back thrusters so the future is bright with this one!

Took getting used to

I played the original DOOM when it first came out on the home PC. Needless to say, this one took a bit of getting used to for an old school gamer. Once you get used to it, it's a really fun game.

"DOOM revamp 2016"

DOOM 2016 or DOOM four as most people call it is a first person arena shooter in which the player takes control of the near psychotic Doom guy, the silent protagonist of the game.

easy to jump into; captivating; face paced combat

multiplayer needs work; contains excessive gore

Good doom game

Nice the fact the they use Easter eggs to show of sci-fi as well as take the game to its hardcore blood and guts route, only minor thing is online isn't the best but for a fantastic single player game it's great

Doom

The DOOM games of the 1990s didn't mess around when it came to introducing the game. There was no lengthy cut scene, no NPC drawling on and on about a backstory, and no brow-beating tutorial that took you away from the ensuing action.

Fast-paced yet incredibly smooth first-person shooter gameplay; challenging difficulties even at the lowest setting; and it captures that old-school familiarity of the original DOOM games blissfully well

SnapMap and multiplayer both need some polishing before they are suitable for constant mass consumption and some of the platforming elements seem a bit overkill for this type of game

DOOM Review

It's been a while since we've had a new id Software shooter. Their last effort, Rage, released all the way back in 2011 to a mixed critical reception. Th

Doom's campaign is all about gameplay with plenty of fast paced shootouts; Snap Map is more robust than I thought it would be and the community seems to be taking to it

Multiplayer doesn't manage to capture the essence of single player DOOM

Doom Review

Beautiful F**king Game.

Amazing combat; Perfect controls; Story doesn't get in the way of the killing

Loading times are long; which can grate on higher difficulty levels; Some texture pop-in

Doom (2016) Single Player Campaign PS4 Review

Because of its success as an FPS, Doom was one of the early pioneers of the genre. It does make one wonder what the gaming world would be like if Doom hadn't come along, but whatever the case, we should be thankful for id's FPS for paving the way for the likes of GoldenEye and the Halo series, both...
